Students Build a Stranger a Home: A Story of Compassion and Heart

As a teacher, I’ve seen students do remarkable things — study tirelessly, compete fiercely, and dream boldly. But nothing prepared me for the lesson they were about to teach me about compassion, empathy, and the power of community.

It started when our class learned about Michael Harris, a local veteran.
